Franklin is a very affectionate boy and loves to spend time playing with the staff in the dog yard. He is tough and active with excellent climbing ability, so a minimum 6 ft. wooden fence is required. Adoptable only to a home without small dogs, cats or young children. As a warm weather breed he needs a home where he can be primarily an indoor dog. Franklin knows commands and enjoys going on long walks and car rides. He needs a dominant owner who understands his primitive breed, his potential for separation anxiety and who will provide continued training. He has traveled all the way from Florida to California to Camano Island so he has seen a lot in his short three years and is ready to find his FOREVER HOME!!!! If you are a homeowner, can provide plenty of exercise and are interested in Franklin please come down to meet him today.

CASA requires all household members to come meet the prospective dog, this includes other dogs to make sure all family members are ok with the pet.

Can't adopt? Consider sponsoring Franklin, you can help by pressing the "SPONSOR ME" button to make a donation online.  Franklin is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
